This spring we bought a bird feeder so that we could check out the song birds around our woods...and see them while we are eating in our kitchen. We have seen a great variety of birds including cardinals, robins, goldfinches, bluejays, chickadees, woodpeckers, cowbirds and of course sparrows. The thing is...this bird feeder has actually also become a squirrel feeder and a raccoon feeder. I guess they have to eat as well. Thats the pros and cons of the feeder...I'm thinking of getting a hummingbird feeder as well...I'll update you all when that happens.
